ODYS TRAVEN WEB AND MOBILE APP UX/UI
Designing for Odys Traven was like crafting a digital compass for explorers eager to uncover the vibrant soul of Mexico. As the UX/UI Designer for both their web and mobile platforms, I aimed to create an experience that felt like a travel adventure in itself—seamless, exciting, and deeply personal. The challenge was to make itinerary planning as enjoyable as the journey, blending intuitive design with the charm of Mexico’s rich culture. Every click, swipe, and interaction was carefully curated to inspire and guide users toward their perfect trip.

• Diving into the Journey: Worked closely with the Odys Traven team to understand the pulse of Mexican travel and what makes travelers tick—whether they’re backpackers or luxury seekers.
• User Personas with a Twist: Built profiles of adventure-hungry users, analyzing their behaviors, needs, and dreams of discovering hidden gems in Mexico.
• Visual Storytelling: Designed user flows and interfaces that told a story—one that begins with a traveler’s curiosity and ends with a beautifully curated itinerary, complete with seamless bookings.
• From Chaos to Clarity: Took complex data (think destinations, activities, budgets) and organized it into an effortless planning experience using sleek wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Cultural Aesthetics: Incorporated visual elements inspired by Mexico—its vivid colors, traditional patterns, and modern flair—bringing a sense of place to every screen.
• Test and Refine: Collaborated with test users to ensure the design wasn’t just functional but delightful, tweaking the smallest details to enhance the overall journey.
Conclusion
• Outcome: Delivered an engaging, visually rich platform that makes travel planning feel like an extension of the adventure itself. Odys Traven’s users can now explore Mexico with ease, confidence, and a spark of excitement from the moment they log in.
